Let me hear of your steadfast love in the morning
for in you I put my trust.
Teach me the way I should go,
for to you I lift up my soul.
Glory be to the Creator, and to the Christ, and to the Holy Spirit.

O Lord, how many are my foes!
Many are rising against me;
many are saying to me,
‘There is no help for you in God.’
But you, O Lord, are a shield around me,
my glory, and the one who lifts up my head.
I cry aloud to the Lord,
and God answers me from the holy hill.
I lie down and sleep;
I wake again, for the Lord sustains me.
I am not afraid of tens of thousands of people
who have set themselves against me all around.
Rise up, O Lord!
Deliver me, O my God!
For you strike all my enemies on the cheek;
you break the teeth of the wicked.
Deliverance belongs to the Lord;

Thanks be to God.
Holy One, we cry out to you: in the morning our prayers come before you.
Along with the worldwide fellowship of churches, we pray this morning for Pakistan.
God, in your mercy, hear our prayer.
Individual prayers may be spoken with the above response given.
Healing God, give us the strength of body, mind, and spirit to continue bringing broken ones into your presence. Give us the faith to continue bringing ourselves, in our own brokenness, into whatever spaces Jesus occupies. Give us the grace to wait and watch for the miracles at hand. Amen.
I pray that you, being rooted and grounded in love,
may have power together with all the saints
to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ,
and to know this love that surpasses knowledge,
that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Amen.
